We are looking for a high motivated and skilled candidate for the open position of:

Finance Assistant at 50%

  • To conduct accounting tasks and controls for the hotel and conference centre;
  • To work together with the financial accountant on monthly closing procedures; and
  • Punctual support for daily administrative tasks 


Main responsibilities:

  • Reconcile receipts with sales, identifying and monitoring receivables, and issuing reminders;
  • Ensure accurate reporting of expenditure by conducting coding and checking procedures for purchase invoices;
  • Issue particular sales invoices for events and banqueting;
  • Work with the financial accountant from the Geneva team to finalise monthly reports to management, maintain financial controls and the internal control processes, and in preparation for audit;
  • Punctual support for daily administrative tasks 



  • Bachelor in business administration, finance, accounting or equivalent;
  • A relevant three years’ experience in administration or accounting work, preferably in an hotel environment;
  • Negotiation and communication skills;
  • Highly organised, attention to detail;
  • Sensitivity to the multicultural and spiritual setting of the Ecumenical Institute;
  • French and English; German is an asset;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, knowledge of Fidelio, Opera or Protel is an added value;
  • Vehicle required.
